Bailey was conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Robert D. Fridley of High Street United Methodist Church. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Bailey, William Bailey, Alford Rollison, Lee Rollison, J. Frank Cox, Jr., and Robert M. Wilkinson. Mrs. Bailey, 74, died early Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Sussex County, she was the wife of Louis E. Bailey and a daughter of Robert and Mrs. Nora Wood Wilkinson. She was a member of High Street United Methodist Church, its Women’s Society of Christian Service, the Susie Bailey Circle and the Sunshine Sunday School class. Besides her husband, surviving are a son, Robert L. Bailey of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. W.B. Hall of Rescue, Mrs. Lewis Temple and Mrs. Blanche Rollison of Petersburg; a brother, Percy Wilkinson of Carson; and two grandchildren. Susie (WILKINSON; Mrs. Louis E.)
