Beale, 42, of Branchville, died at his home on Sunday night, February 21. Mr. Beale was a member of the Branchville Methodist Church and the Boykins Lions Club. He was [...*] his direction of local stage shows. Mr. Beale is survived by his wife, Clarice Brittle Beale; one daughter, Sara Reece Beale; three sons, Samuel T. Beale, III, Billy R. Beale, and Bobby Fuller Beale; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Davis of Boykins, Mrs. Mabel Frisby of Tulhema, Tenn., and Mrs. Carrie Barnes of Norfolk; two brothers, E.T. Beale, Sr., and J.V. Beale of Brancheville, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted from the Branchville Methodist Church, at 3:00 on Tuesday, February 23, with the Rev. Marshall Anderson and the Rev. N.T. Habel officiating. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins. Active pallbearers were Leonard Grizzard, Victor Grizzard, Joe Pope, Joe Felts, H.O. Carlton, Henry Taylor, J.W. White and Lynn Blythe. Boys from the Boykins High School were honorary pallbearers. There is a line running through the print at the top and middle of many of the papers and it effected many of the obits. I've put elipses for the part that's missing. GRIFFIN (1919-1989). She is buried with Samuel; Algie is buried with his parents- Annex 2, Plot 220.
