Beale died at his home near Sedley last Friday at the age of 70, after a long period of ill health. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and was a regular attendant upon its services until failing health prevented. He was buried in the family burying ground at his old home Sunday afternoon, services being conducted at Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. W.B. Watson. His favorite hymns, "Rock of Ages," "Nothing Between," "Face to Face," and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" were sung. Pallbearers were J.H. Johnson, D.L. Tillery, E.L. Beale, J.E. Weede, Cecil Vaughan, 3rd, and R.R. Lankford. Mr. Beale is survived by two daughters, Mrs. O.D. Drake and Mrs. C.E. Womble; one son, A.J. Beale, one sister, Mrs. Sue Turner; two brothers, Oliver Lankford and L.R. Beale. Willie J.
