BAILEY Warren Harcum Bailey, 43, well-known resident of Southampton County and the Como community, died suddenly Friday afternoon, July 27, from a heart attack before reaching the hospital. He was the son of the late Frank C. and Mrs. Annie Harcum Bailey of Southampton County and a member of Buckhorn Baptist church near Como. He is survived by five brothers. O.M. Bailey of Como, N,C., W.F. Bailey of Suffolk, Harvey L. Bailey of Norfolk, H.H. Bailey of Handson and R.G. Bailey of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. N.P. Holland of Handsom, Mrs. Cecil Jenkins of Portsmouth and Mrs. Milton Worrell of Newsoms, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home Monday at 4 p.m. by Rev. Ira D. Hudgins, pastor of the Franklin Baptist Church. Burial was in Sycamore Church Cemetery near Franklin. Active pallbearers were Robert, J.D., C.C. and Allen Bailey, Marvin Holcombe and Dempsey Blythe.
