Tom Bell and took from it the wife and mother, Mrs. Willie Sarah Bell, age 41 years. Mrs. Bell was a lovely Christian character and a consistent member of Trinity M.E. Church. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, a devoted husband and four children, Marion, Willie Tom, Vera and a four months old baby. Besides her immediate family she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Smith of Newbern, N.C.; Mrs. Will Cross of Gumberry, N.C.; one brother, Mr. Mathias and a mother, Mrs. W.H. Mathias. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. William H. Mathias. She was born in Gates County, N.C., on May 15, 1877. The funeral services were conducted at her late residence by her pastor, Rev. W. L. Burks, and interment as made in the family cemetery on the farm. The flowers were lovely, attesting the high esteem in which she was held. The active pallbearers were; E.G. Joyner, H.D. Babb, L.M. Cobb, John Smith, Watt Whitehead, and B.W. Sebrell; honorary: J.L. Cobb, B.B. Rogers, Willie Joyner, J.W. Urquhart, W.R.L. Cobb, S.N. Cobb and W.S. Briggs. Willie Sarah (MATHIAS; Mrs. B.
