WILLIAM EVANS BEALE, JR.

   HANDSOM - William E. Beale Jr., 74, a retired farmer, died July 20, in a 
Norfolk hospital.

   Mr. Beale, a Southampton County native, was a member of St. Luke’s 
Episcopal Church, Courtland.

   The funeral was conducted Wednesday in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church by the 
Rev. James W. Browder III.  Burial was at the Beale Family Cemetery, Franklin.

   Wright Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
