Since birth he had been sickly and delicate and his death was due to heart trouble. It has been erroneously stated in other papers that he smothered in his crib but the family wishes to correct that statement here. Besides his parents he is survived by one little sister, Jacquelin, both maternal and paternal grandparents and a number of aunts and uncles. Funeral services were conducted at the residence Sunday afternoon by Rev. R.D. Stephenson. Members of the Methodist Church choir sang "Does Jesus Care" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
