All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ BESSIE WILLS BLYTHE Bessie Wills Blythe, nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Blythe of this county, died suddenly Sunday morning of a heart attack at her home near Franklin. The little girl attended the Nottoway Chapel Methodist Sunday School and was a pupil in the Courtland grammar school. Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Willie Roy, D.C. and Emerson Blythe of the Courtland community. Funeral services were conducted from Nottoway Chapel on Monday afternoon at 4:30 o’clock by Rev. Percy D. White of Courtland, followed by interment in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The pallbearers were Herman Blythe, J.G. Joyner, Jr., Herman Cobb, J.G. Cobb, Shelton Cobb and Dempsey Blythe. Honorary pallbearers were friends of the family.
