Brittle. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Blythe died Thursday in Southampton County and the husband of Mrs. Hilda Bradshaw Blythe and a son of Mrs. Sweetie Lee Blythe of Franklin. He owned and operated Blythe Well Diggers in Franklin. He was a member of Hunterdale United Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Other survivors include a daughter, Miss Sharon Blythe of Richmond; a son, Donald Keith Blythe of Franklin; eight sisters, Mrs. Virgie B. Harrison of Norfolk, Mrs. Vina B. Overby and Mrs. Lola B. Bass of Courtland, Mrs. Margaret B. Wilson and Mrs. Claris B. Graham of Portsmouth, Mrs. Stella B. Richardson, Mrs. Doris B. Holt and Mrs. Janice B. Hollowell of Franklin; two brothers, Edgar Blythe and Carey Blythe of Franklin.
