All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ CRISSIE BEATON JOYNER BLYTHE Mrs. Crissie Joyner Blythe died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jim Blythe, of Franklin community, Monday in her 78th year after an illness of two weeks and following a long period of ill health. Mrs. Blythe was the daughter of the late John Beaton and Ruth Joyner Beaton of this county. Mrs. Blythe, being married twice, was the wife of Nicholas Wilson Joyner, who died in 1887 and Willie A. Blythe, who died in 1899. Of the former union there are four children surviving; Mrs. Robert Blythe, Jay Gould Joyner, Asa Joyner and Mrs. Jim Blythe. Of the latter there were two children, Mrs. Tony Cobb and Dan Blythe. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
