He was a member of Union Christian Church for a number of years. During his life he made many friends. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Addie Harcum Blythe; his father, Jesse Blythe; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Blythe and Mrs. Charlie Blythe; four brothers, W.M., B.S., Robert and Ezra Blythe; one half-sister and brother, four step-daughters and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were his nephews. Interment was in the family burying ground. Services were conducted by Rev. R.E. Brittle.
