The son of the Willie and Chris Beaton Blythe, he was a member of the Union Congregational Christian Church at Hunterdale. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Lowe Blythe; three sons, Willie Roy and D.C.W. Blythe, both of Courtland, and Emerson Lowe Blythe of Carrollton; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jim Blythe and Mrs. T.R. Cobb, both of Franklin; and two half-brothers, J.G. and Asa Joyner, also of Franklin. Funeral services for Mr. Blythe were held in the chapel of W.J.M. Holland & Sons on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, with Rev. Clyde Fields, pastor of Union Church, officiating. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The pallbearers were Archer Blythe, Dempsey Blythe, Herman Blythe, Percy Blythe, Herman Cobb, J.G. Cobb, Shelton Cobb and J.G.
