The deceased was the son of the late Jesse and Mary Jane Mumford Blythe of this county. He is survived by a son, George W. Blythe of Petersburg; three daughters, Mrs. Betty B. Kitchen and Miss Jane S. Blythe of Franklin and Mrs. Mary B. Maciolek of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; two brothers, J.R. Blythe and Bennie Blythe, both of Franklin; and two sisters, Mrs. Charlie Blythe and Mrs. Frank Blythe, also of Franklin. Funeral services were held at the grave in the family cemetery near Franklin on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. James A. Coney of Sedley officiating. Pallbearers were Ashby Blythe, Bernard Blythe, Claude Blythe, Edgar Blythe, Edward Blythe, Herman Blythe, M.B. Blythe, Jr. and Morris Blythe.
