EULA MARIE COPELAND BLYTHE

   A funeral service for Mrs. Eula Copeland Blythe, 62, of 704 Chestnut St., 
Franklin, was held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral 
Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins.

   Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Pallbearers were Malcolm B. Blythe, Harvey Lankford Jr., Jimmy Copeland, 
Johnny Copeland, Dr. Kenneth Copeland and Raymond Billups.

   Mrs. Blythe died Friday afternoon in Southampton Memorial Hospital after a 
long illness.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, she was the widow of Luther William 
Blythe and a daughter of James S. and Mrs. Effie Edwards Copeland.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Alice C. Billups of Franklin, Mrs. 
Minnie C. Wyatt of Victoria, Mrs. Berta C. Duke of Carrsville; four brothers, 
Shirley E. Copeland of Waverly, Jasper J. Copeland of Newport News, G. Staley 
Copeland of Windsor and J. Clifton Copeland Sr. of Franklin.
