GLADYS COGGSDALE BABB UPTON BLYTHE 

  FRANKLIN - Gladys Coggsdale Blythe, 59, of 307 S. Main St., died Saturday in 
Southampton Memorial Hospital.  She was a native of Southampton County and the 
widow of Archie Blythe.

  Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Drewry, a son, James C. Babb, and two 
sisters, Annie L. Brock and Mary Duck, all of Franklin; a brother, John W. 
Coggsdale of Handsom; and two grandchildren.

  The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Wright Funeral Home by 
Rev. William Hawkins.  Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park.  The 
family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
