He was the son of the late Jesse and Lavinia Wester Blythe. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Iola Harcum Blythe*; five sons, W.N., J.R., Ezra, Bennie and Jesse DeBordenave Blythe; three daughters, Mrs. Frank Blythe, Mrs. Charlie Blythe and Miss Aldine Edith Blythe, all of Franklin, besides 40 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were conducted at the residence Thursday, April 21, at 4:30 o’clock by the Rev. R.E. Brittle, burial following in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were his grandsons, honorary bearers being grandsons-in-law.
