Mr. Blythe was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church and had worked at St. Regis Paper company for many years. He was the son of William and Margaret Anne Rose Blythe of Southampton County, and the husband of the late Bertha Austin Blythe of Franklin. He is survived by two sons, Nathaniel and Stanley Blythe; three grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Blythe and Frank Blythe; and three sisters, Mrs. Martha Jane Womble, Miss Rosa Blythe, and Mrs. T.W. Blythe. Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home of W.J.M. Holland and Sons by the Rev. Clyde C. Fields, pastor of the Hunterdale Christian Church. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Samuel ----, Ernest Allen, Timmy Jones, Williams Drewry, Jr., Philip Blythe, Paulette Rose, R.R. Lankford and Raymond Porter.
