He was the husband of Mrs. Thelma Womble Blythe and a son of Richard and Mrs. India Rose Blythe of Southampton County. He was a member of Sedley Baptist Church. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Junius Fenton Blythe of Rocky Mount, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Essie Joyner and Mrs. Howard Vinson of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. W.H. Kitchen of Raleigh, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel Monday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins and the Rev. C.J. Benner. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ashby Vaughan, Willie Bradshaw, George Hedgepeth, Leon O’Clair, Wiley Pierce, Melvin Cotton and Eliza Joyner. William Linwood "Lynn" BLYTHE, retired farmer, b.
