In addition to her parents she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Nelms of Smithfield, and Allie Mae, Catherine and Irene Blythe of Franklin, and six brothers, Kelly, Edward, David, Clinton and Franklin Blythe of Franklin and Melvin Blythe of Smithfield. Nancy Carolyn BLYTHE, daughter of Hunter & Allie (GRIFFIN) BLYTHE, Southampton Co. native, d. 3 Jan 1939, at home, age 19 months, interred in Poplar Spring Cemetery (Annex 2, Plot 112*), Franklin, "The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), Jan. 6, 1939, p. 8 *Her parents are also buried there.
