She had been a member of Black Creek Baptist Church for 25 years and is survived by a large family connection and many friends. She leaves two brothers, W.A. Blythe of Sedley and Richard Blythe of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Georgianna Beaton of Norfolk, five half- brothers, Gillis of Norfolk, Frank and Junius of Franklin, James of Courtland and Lafayette Blythe of Holland, and three half-sisters, Miss Rose Blythe, Mrs. W.H. Womble and Mrs. T.W. Blythe of Sedley, and about 60 nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted from her late home by her Pastor, Rev. R.P. Welch of Black Creek, and interment was made in the old family burying ground. The body bearers were: J.T. Womble, J.T. Councill, William Wester, James Joyner, J.G. Joyner, Lonnie, F.S., and T.W. Blythe. Albert BLYTHE (c1843-1928), buried at the BLYTHE home place on Sedley Rd (Rt. 641), about 2 miles south of Sedley.
