Blythe, 79, died at his home in Suffolk on Tuesday afternoon, January 15, at 5:45 o’clock after a short illness. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C.W. Presson of 137 S. Saratoga Street, Suffolk, with whom he made his home, and Mrs. Vernon Presson of Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Blythe and Mrs. Charlie Blythe, both of Franklin; a half-sister, Mrs. Bennie Duck of Carrsville; and three brothers, J.R. Blythe, Ezra Blythe and Bennie Blythe, and a half-brother, Jesse D. Blythe, all of Franklin. The deceased was a member of the Bethel Friends Meeting. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock at the Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, by Rev. R.E. Brittle. Interment was in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
