WINNIE ELLEN BLYTHE Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Ellen Blythe, age 68 years, who died suddenly at her home in Hill Street, Franklin, Friday night, were held Sunday afternoon from her residence by the Rev. J.R. Stein and Dr. Elwood W. Jones. The choir of the Congregational Christian church sang, "Rock of Ages" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye." The casket was covered with a pall of red and white carnations. Active pallbearers were: Vernon, Stafford, Elmo, Herman and Ashby Blythe, J.G., Acie and John Joyner. Interment was made in Poplar Spring cemetery. Mrs. Blythe is survived by her husband, W.N. Blythe, two daughters, Mrs. C. Waverly Presson of Suffolk and Mrs. Vernon Presson of Franklin, three grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
