Mr. Bolton, a Southampton County native, was a member of Branchville Baptist Church, a charter member of Branchville Baptist Church, a charter member of Branchville Ruritan Club and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Catherine M. Bolton; two sons, Neal T. Bolton and Leon W. Bolton; two sisters, Adrian B. Drake and Mildred B. Lassiter, all of Boykins; and two grandsons. A graveside service was conducted Tuesday in Beechwood Cemetery by the Rev. Charleston Holloman. Memorial donations may be made to the Boykins Volunteer Rescue Squad. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, handled the arrangements.
