Donald Trump. Burial was in the church cemetery. Ballard died Friday in the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Isle of Wight County and the husband of Mrs. Alma Spivey Ballard. He was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and its Fellowship Class and the Young Heart Club. He was an Army veteran of World War I. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patricia B. Larus of Richmond; a son, G.E. Ballard Jr., of Franklin; a brother, R.A. Ballard of Courtland and six grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Isle of Wight County Rescue Squad.
