Mrs. Boone was a native of Aiken, S.C. She was a homemaker and a member of West Suffolk Baptist Church. She was the widow of Donald Judson Boone and the daughter of the late Eldridge Lamar Hutto and Carrie Bell Hutto [sic*]. Survivors include her daughters and their children, Jenelle Wallace of Bath, S.C., and her children, Jason and Dan; Juanita A. Moynihan of Suffolk and her children, Thea, Cailen and Summer; Julia Daughtrey of Suffolk and her children, Crystal, Joshua, Jon, Caleb and Chase; Joan M. Heath of Suffolk and her children, Amber and Amanda; her son and his children, John Loyd Boone of Gatesville, N.C., and his children, Christopher and Tabatha; her sister, Myrna Hutto of Bath, S.C.; and her brother, Carroll Hutto of Athens, Tenn. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Trinity Christian Church, Suffolk, with the Rev. William Brock, the Rev. Ben Scofield and the Rev. Byron McCreary officiating. Interment will be in Southampton Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence of Juanita A. Moynihan, 223 Pearl St., Suffolk, VA 23434. He 2m. Mary Ann Elizabeth LAIRD circa 1893. Mary Annie d. 29 May 1919, Columbia, SC. Alvilda's mother was Carrie Bell HUTTO. Her D.Cert. (1939-9202 {Aiken #119}) gives b. 12 May 1897; however, she does not appear in the 1900 Census; the 1910 Census gives age 8; 1920, 17; 1930, 24. She died at full term of a ruptured uterus. She was buried (possibly unmarked) with her parents in a LAIRD family cemetery, Lexington Co., SC. Carrie B. & Alvilda are both given as daughters of Eldrich S. Hutto in the 1930 Census. Alvilda & four other grandchildren appear with E.L. Hutto in 1940. (Millbrook Twp, Aiken Co., SC.) Her aunt Jessie Earle HUTTO's Delayed B.Cert. (1956 #16-558) gives b. 19 Jan 1892, dt/o Eldridge Hutto & Mary Annie Laird. The 1900 Census (Bull Swamp, Lexington Co., SC) gives step-son [sic!]. Jessie (Mrs. Julian D.) COOK, is buried in a SMITH family cemetery, Gaston, Lexington Co., SC. (Find a Grave Mem. #194501051 includes obit) Alvilda's husband killed himself 26 May 1977, and was buried with his parents in Conway Cemetery, Conway, Northampton CO., NC. (Find a Grave Mem. #40152739) His first wife, Dorothy Lee (MANN) BOONE, 2m. Terence M. McAULEY.
