RICHARD SMITH BOWEN, JR. 

   Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday for Richard Smith Bowen Jr., 
infant son of Richard Smith and Mrs. Frances Edwards Bowen of Franklin.

   Services were at Poplar Spring Cemetery by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of 
Franklin Baptist Church. W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home was in charge.

   The infant died Friday morning in a Richmond hospital.

   Besides his parents, survivors are his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Carl L. Bowen of Franklin and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie 
Lee Edwards of Lawrenceville.
