Story, in Portsmouth Saturday, March 16, after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Mrs. Delia Story Bishop of Southampton County. Besides Mrs. Story she is survived by three other sisters, Mrs. R.H. Andrews of Boykins, Mrs. P.B. Richardson of Newark, N.J., and Mrs. S.A. Fitchett of Portsmouth; one brother, B.P. Bishop of Arlington, N.J. and a number of nieces and nephews and a large family connection in this county. Ever faithful to her family, especially an invalid mother for five years, and to her church she will be greatly missed. Funeral services were conducted from Mt. Horeb Church of which she had been a faithful member since her childhood, by her Pastor, Rev. J.K. Holman, assisted by the Rev. Roy Jarratt of Portsmouth, Monday afternoon. Active pallbearers were friends of the family. A large crowd was present from the community and Portsmouth and many beautiful floral tributes bore witness of the love and esteem of friends and loved ones. The casket was covered with a pall of carnations, rosebuds and fern. Burial was made in the family plot in the church cemetery. [Dollie Odelia BISHOP, d. 16 Mar 1935, Portsmouth, interred in Mt.
