Darden Battle and the Rev. Allen Moore. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park with W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were: L.A. Darden, John W. Moody, W.L. Young, Sr., Otto Harcum, Claude Edwards and Robert Howell. Bunch, 72, died Sunday morning in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin, after a long illness. A native of Edenton, N.C. he was the husband of Mrs. Agnes Smith Bunch and a son of Mark and Sally Felton Bunch. He was a retired barber and farmer. He was a deacon of Sycamore Baptist Church and a member of Delaware Hunt Club. Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, John C. Bunch of Franklin, Leo M. Bunch of Newport News, and Leon S. Bunch of Crittenden; two brothers, Earl Bunch of Edenton and Ervin Bunch of Windsor; seven sisters, Mrs. Dixie Harrell, Mrs. Emma White, Mrs. Gladys Stallings, Mrs. Mary Evans, and Miss Lessie Bunch of Edenton, Mrs. Elsie Gregory of Hertford, N.C. and Mrs. Grace Petty of North Dakota; and nine grandchildren.
