Bunch, 72, was held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. G. Durham Ipock. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins, had charge. Bunch died Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Portsmouth, he was the husband of Mrs. Virginia Ricketts Bunch. He was a Baptist. He was a retired lumberman and owned and operated Southampton Service Center. He was a graduate of Fork Union Military School and attended the University of Richmond. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gail Camp and Mrs. Suzette Carpenito of Courtland; a sister, Mrs. Inez Quarnstrom of Norfolk; a brother, Granville Bunch of Portsmouth; and eight grandchildren.
