JESSE JAMES BENSON, JR.

   Funeral services for Jesse James Benson, Jr., infant son of Jesse James and 
Mrs. Clara May Cutchins Benson of the Newsoms community, were held at the 
grave in Poplar Spring Cemetery Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock conducted 
by Rev. Roscoe Jones.

   The child died Friday night at Raiford Hospital following an illness of a 
few days.

d. 13 Jul 1934, Franklin, 
interred in Poplar Spring Cemetery (Annex 2, Plot 96; unmarked*), Franklin,

*Unmarked; added to a later family plot - "Their nephew; nobody I know had
