EDWARD OWEN BOND, JR.

   COURTLAND - Edward Owen Bond, Jr., age 3 months and 4 days, died suddenly, 
Saturday while visiting relatives in Fairfax.

   He was a son of Edward Owen and Lynda Howell Bond of Courtland

   Surviving besides his parents is a sister, Karen Ann Bond of Courtland; his 
grandparents, Mrs. Dewey Howell of Franklin, Mr. and Mrs. Edward C. Bond of 
Courtland, and Mrs. W.J. Moss of Richmond; his great-grandparents, Mrs. Lillie 
C. Bond of Orange and Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Hawkins of Glasgow.

   The body was taken to W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, where a funeral 
service was conducted in the Chapel, Monday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Herman Smith 
of Courtland Baptist Church and the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins of Franklin Baptist 
Church.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.

   Pallbearers were William H. Howell, Jr., and W.A. Hawkins.

   Honorary pallbearers were Roscoe D. Cook Sr. and Dr. W.O. Ward.
