All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ROBERT EDWARD BEAMAN NORFOLK - Robert Edward Beaman, 52, husband of Mrs. Mary Hines Matthews Beaman and son of the late Walter E. and Mrs. Annie Powell Beaman, died in a Norfolk hospital Wednesday at 1:30 a.m. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Miss Brenda Beaman of Suffolk; two sisters, Mrs. Vernon Harler of Kinsale and Mrs. John R. Covington of Virginia Beach. Mr. Beaman was a native of Franklin, a former resident of Suffolk and had been a resident of Norfolk for 15 years, lately at 9551-18th Bay St. He was a member of Suffolk Baptist Church. A funeral service will be conducted at Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin.
