Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. N.J. McManus. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Pallbearers were Franklin Gray, Richard Gray, George Watson, Bruce Hill, Charles Warren, Sidney Simms, Ray Melton, Robert Daughtrey and Kelly Taylor. Burbage, 26, drowned at Cape Hatteras Saturday. A native of Como, N.C., he was a son of Mrs. Emma Ruth Atkinson of Windsor and Samuel T. Burbage, Como, N.C. A member of Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como, N.C. He was a foreman at Franklin Equipment Co. Besides his mother and father surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ann Gray of Franklin.
