ANNIE MAE DARDEN BROCK 

  CARRSVILLE, VA - Annie Mae Darden Brock, 81, of Route 1, died Oct. 26, 1988, 
in a Petersburg nursing home.

  Mrs. Brock, a native of Isle of Wight County, was a member of Colosse 
Baptist Church.

  Survivors include her husband, Rossie W. Brock; five daughters, Louise B. 
Lee of Boykins, Va., Julia Mae Newsome of Colonial Heights, Va., Nannie B. 
Engstrom of Hopewell Junction, N.Y., Patricia Stultz of Plymouth, Mass., and 
Virginia B. Outland of Carrsville; two sons, Rossie E. Brock and Richard Henry 
Brock, both of Carrsville; a sister, Doreatha B. Keeter of Carrsville; 18 
grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

  The graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Southampton 
Memorial Park by the Rev. C. Cosslett and Richard Peerey.  Friends may join 
the family from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin.
