All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ JIMMIE REUBEN BRACEY FRANKLIN - Jimmie Reuben Bracey, 75, of the 100 block of Rawlsdale Road, co-owner of Franklin Masters Cleaners, died Dec. 24 in a Norfolk hospital. Mr. Bracey, a lifelong resident of Franklin, was the widower of Virginia Ratterree Bracey. He was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights Pythias. He was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia B. Ivey of Franklin; a sister, Julia B. Pittman of Franklin and two grandchildren. The funeral was conducted Saturday in Franklin Congregational Christian Church by the Rev. Richard T. Diekmann. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the church. Wright Funeral Home handled arrangements.
