He was a native of Isle of Wight County but had lived here for the past 50 years. He was a member of the Franklin Christian Church. Surviving are six sons and two daughters, Mrs. L.A. Whitley, C.L., Roy, Martin, and Edward Bracy, of Franklin; J.R. Bracy, of Dendron; J.F. Bracy, of Carrsville, and Miss Mattie Bracy, of Windsor. Ten grandchildren and four nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at the home of Roy Bracy Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the E.K, MacReynolds assisted by Rev. Mr. Jenson. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Franklin - Jacob Henry Bracy, 78, a farmer who lived near here, died at his home Tuesday of a heart attack. He was a member of the Christian Church here, and was widely known. He is survived by six sons and two daughters, C.L., Roy, Martin and Edward Bracy of Franklin, and Mrs. L.A. Whitley of Franklin, and J.R. Bracy of Dendron, J.F. Bracy of Carrsville and Miss Mattie Bracy of Windsor; 10 grandchildren, four nephews, Clarence Bracy, Washington, D.C.; Johnnie Bracy of Carrsville, Willie Bracy of Petersburg and Claud Bracy of Holland. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Thursday at the home of his son, Roy Bracy, Chestnut Street, Franklin, conducted by the Rev. E.K. MacReynolds. Burial will be made in Poplar Spring Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Jacob Henry Bracy, well-known farmer of the Franklin community, died at his home near town Tuesday afternoon of a heart attack. Mr. Bracey, who was 78 years of age, was a native of Isle of Wight County but had spent the greater part of his life here. He was a member of the Franklin Congregational Church Church. Mr. Bracy is survived by eight children; Mrs. Lloyd A. Whitley, C. Lee, Roy, Martin and Edward Bracy, all of Franklin; J.R. Bracy of Dendron, J.F. Bracy of Carrsville, and Miss Mattie Bracy of Windsor, Va.; by ten grandchildren, four nephews and a large family connection. Funeral services were conducted from the home of Roy Bracy in Riverview yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the Rev. A. McK. Reynolds of High Street M.E. Church. Burial was made in the family plot in Poplar Spring Cemetery, the active pallbearers being: Geo. I, Earnest, Ezra F. Gray, J. Cliff Eley, Tup Jones, Geo. H. Parker, J. Edgar Weede, E.P.
