Richard T. Dickman. Holland-Rideout Funeral Home was in charge. Bracey died Friday in a Hampton hospital. A native of Franklin, he was a retired engineer for Southwestern Railroad, Baltimore, and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Franklin Congregational Christian Church. He was the son of Jacob H. and Sarah Ann Garrison Bracey of Southampton County. Survivors include the following nieces and nephews; James R. Bracey, Julia Pittman, Lucille Whitley Lankford, Edith Whitley Day of Franklin, Shirley B. Roberts and David L. Bracey of Wilmington, N.C. and Joyce B. Benny of Henderson, N.C., Sarah B. Harris of Emporia and James F. Bracey Jr. of Staunton.
