Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton. Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park. Brock died Sunday night in a Petersburg hospital after a long illness. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of Noah and Mrs. Maggie States Brock and the husband of Mrs. Annie Coggsdale Brock. He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Virginian Railway. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Brock Vann of Franklin; one son, Roland Brock, Sumter, S.C.; two sister, Mrs. Naomi Williams of Carrsville, Mrs. Annie Carr of Franklin; one brother, Garvin Brock of Kembridge, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
