MARSHALL BROCK

   A funeral service for Marshall Brock, 64, of 307 South Main St., Franklin, 
was held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by 
the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton.

   Burial was in Southampton Memorial Park.

   Brock died Sunday night in a Petersburg hospital after a long illness.

   A native of Isle of Wight County, he was a son of Noah and Mrs. Maggie 
States Brock and the husband of Mrs. Annie Coggsdale Brock.

   He was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a retired employee of the 
Virginian Railway.

   Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Brock Vann of 
Franklin; one son, Roland Brock, Sumter, S.C.; two sister, Mrs. Naomi Williams 
of Carrsville, Mrs. Annie Carr of Franklin; one brother, Garvin Brock of 
Kembridge, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.


Marshall BROCK, of Franklin, retired from the Virginian R.R., 
Isle of Wight Co. native, d. 17 Dec 1972, Petersburg, age 64,
