Robert Royal, the Rev. A.C.D. Noe, and the Rev. William Haney. A committal service was held 3 p.m. Friday in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin, Va. by Dr. Ira D. Hudgins. Mrs. Brooks, 79, died Wednesday in Beaufort County Hospital, Washington, after a brief illness. A native of Northampton County, she was a daughter of John and Mrs. Anna Powell Fleetwood and the widow of Braxton A. Brooks of Beaufort County. She was a member of Bath Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Tankard of Bath; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Theodosia Ruth (FLEETWOOD; Mrs. Braxton A.
