Burgess, died Sunday. She was a native of Southampton County and a member of Vincent's Grove Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. H.B. Covington of Franklin; four sons, J.M. Burgess and Roland A. Burgess of Courtland, Reginald E. Burgess of Petersburg and Elmo M. Burgess of Franklin; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Branch of Franklin; 20 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 4 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.
