He was the widow of Joyce Carter Bristow and a member of Black Creek Baptist Church. He was a charter member of the Black Creek Ruritan Club. He had retired as a carpenter for Union Camp Corp. Among the survivors is one daughter: Mrs. Rosalyn Jukes of Richmond; two sons, Coral Bristow of Franklin and Gavin Bristow of Joliet, Ill.; six grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Saturday 2 P.M. Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Interment Southampton Memorial Park. ****************************************************************************** Schuyler C. Bristow FRANKLIN - Schuyler Clark Bristow, 85, of Route 2 died Thursday afternoon in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Joyce Carter Bristow. He was a retired carpenter of Union Camp Corp. He was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and a charter member of Black Creek Ruritan Club. He was the son of Clark and Alice Lewis Bristow. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rosalyn Jukes of Richmond; two sons, Coral Bristow of Franklin and Gavin Bristow of Joliet, Ill., three brothers, Berkley Bristow of Norfolk, Shumway Bristow of Elizabeth City, N.C., and William Bristow of Franklin; and six grandchildren. A funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Park.
