EDITH MAUDE KNIGHT BARKLEY

   Mrs. Maude Knight Barkley, 58, widow of Cullen Barkley, died in Raleigh, 
N.C., on Sunday morning, April 29.

   A native of Boykins, Mrs. Barkley had been a resident of Raleigh for some 
years.

   She is survived by one son, W.H. Barkley, and one daughter, Mrs. Marion 
Keen, both of Raleigh; one granddaughter; and two brother-in-law, B.C. Barkley 
of Portsmouth and E.M. Barkley of Boykins.

   Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning at the grave in 
Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, with Rev. N.B. Habel, pastor of the Boykins 
Baptist Church, officiating.
