BRASWELL Franklin - A funeral service for Robert T. (Bob) Braswell, 81, was held Friday at 3 p.m. in Southampton Memorial Park by Dr. R.E. Brittle. He died Thursday in Southampton Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Greensville County and the husband of the late Mamie Moore Braswell. He was a retired machinist and an Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Emporia. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lucille B. Stafford of Franklin and Mrs. Dorothy B. Stewart of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; a stepson, Frank Roop of Roanoke; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Harris of Emporia and Miss Mae Braswell of Jarratt; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
