Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton Jr. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were John F. Duke Jr., William T. Daughtrey, J.J. Bradshaw Jr., Henry Duke, Theodore Eason, James J. Rawls, Ralph Barrett and Roy Duck. Mrs. Barrett, 90, the widow of John Edward Barrett, died Tuesday in her home. A native of Louisa, she was a daughter of John Henry and Mrs. Addie Lou Perkins Buck. She was an Episcopalian and a member of Agnes Lee Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy. Surviving are two sons, John Edward Barrett Jr. of Roanoke and William H. Barrett of Carrsville; a daughter, Mrs. Lydia* Littell of Carrsville; a sister, Mrs. Grace L. Woolridge of Roanoke; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
