Norfleet, in Main Street. Miss Brett was stricken with paralysis Sunday morning and lived only a few hours. Surviving her are four sisters, Mrs. W.H. Norfleet, Mrs. J.C. Norfleet, Misses Alice and Ida Brett of Franklin and one brother, S.E. Brett, of Como, N.C. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Norfleet at 2 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. Roscoe Jones. Active pallbearers were: Deans Brett, J.D. Riddick, Jr., S.P. Winborne, Lloyd Bittle, J.B. Ferguson, Hayes Brett, E.W. Ferguson and Rosser Bryant. Interment was made in the family cemetery at Como.
