HENRY WILLIAM CAMERON BRITT 

H C Britt, 42, 
Of Zuni Area 
Buried Dec 27th 

Franklin - Henry Cameron Britt, 42, lifelong resident of the Zuni community, 
died Tuesday December 25th at a Williamsburg, hospital after an illness of 
many weeks.  Mr. Britt was the son of Mrs Sallie Hall Britt, of Zuni and 
the late Robert Britt.  He was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.

Surviving him are two sons Warren and Robert Britt; his mother, four sisters, 
Mrs. Alma Bryant of Zuni; Mrs. Emmie Cutchins of Suffolk; Mrs. Rosa Powell 
and Miss Laura Britt of Zuni; two brothers, Raleigh J. Britt of Millville, NJ 
and John Britt of Zuni.

Funeral services were held on Thursday December 27th at 1 pm at Tucker Swamp 
Baptist Church by Rev. Holzbach.  Burial was in the church cemetery.

He seems to have been enumerated twice in the 1940 Census - with his in-laws 
   in Zuni (sheet 2B), and lodging with merchant Harry Wilson, elsewhere in 
   Hardy District, Isle of Wight Co. (sheet 19B). 

He & his wife separated Feb 1941, and divorced 18 Oct 1943.  Annie (LANIER) 
   2m. Robert M. HUGHES - with whom she is buried, in Holly Lawn Cemetery, 
   Suffolk (see Find-a-Grave Mem. #80877812) - and 3m. Eugene WILKINS.
