All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ELIZA JANE BRYANT BARRETT Ivor, Sept. 15 - Mrs. Eliza (Tiny) Barrett, 74, died today at 4 p.m. at the Louise Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk, after a short illness. Mrs. Barrett was the widow of Thomas Barrett, of Zuni, and was the daughter of the late John and Eliza Camp Bryant of Southampton County. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church near Windsor. She is survived by two sons, Edgar C. Barrett, of Hampton and Emmit G. Barrett; two grandchildren; and three step daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cobb and Mrs. W.A. Cobb of Zuni, and Mrs. Emma Tomlin, of Ivor; two step sons, Alec Barrett, of Zuni; and Tommy Barrett, of Smithfield; two half sisters, Mrs. Pearl Purcell of Wakefield and Mrs. Georgia Carr of Norfolk; two half brothers, Edgar Bryant of Zuni and Sam Bryant of Norfolk and 26 step children. The body was taken to the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home at Franklin. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church by the Rev. Ellis Clark and the Rev. L.S.
