Mrs. Barrett was the widow of Thomas Barrett, of Zuni, and was the daughter of the late John and Eliza Camp Bryant of Southampton County. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church near Windsor. She is survived by two sons, Edgar C. Barrett, of Hampton and Emmit G. Barrett; two grandchildren; and three step daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cobb and Mrs. W.A. Cobb of Zuni, and Mrs. Emma Tomlin, of Ivor; two step sons, Alec Barrett, of Zuni; and Tommy Barrett, of Smithfield; two half sisters, Mrs. Pearl Purcell of Wakefield and Mrs. Georgia Carr of Norfolk; two half brothers, Edgar Bryant of Zuni and Sam Bryant of Norfolk and 26 step children. [sic; grandchildren] The body was taken to the W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home at Franklin. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3 p.m. at Antioch Christian Church by the Rev. Ellis Clark and the Rev. L.S. Holzoach. Burial will be in the church cemetery. ****************************************************************************** Mrs. Thos.
