J. Waverly Horne. Pallbearers were Junior Luter, Herman Bowden, Junior Bowden, Lewis Chapman, Fats Joyner, Tommy Lee Britt Jr., and Elisha Luter. He died Wednesday in Louse Obici Memorial Hospital, Suffolk. He was a native of Southampton County and last worked for National Screen Co., of Suffolk. Survivors include a brother, James Britt of Zuni; and three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Faison and Mrs. Lucille Griffin of Petersburg and Mrs. Nannie Edwards of Smithfield. Memorial donations may be made to the Ivor Rescue Squad. Homer never married. His father, Jesse E. BRITT [II], died in 1947 in Roanoke, and his body was removed to Zuni. He & his sister have been added, provisionally, to a BRITT-COOK family cemetery, off Hwy. 460, between Zuni & Ivor.
