Brett, died Monday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin. She was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard M. Butler of Zuni, Mrs. Elvin Gray of Newsoms, and Mrs. Gurnie Britt* of Ivor; four sons, Herbert L. Brett* of Carrsville, F. Lloyd Brett of Walters, James W. Brett of Wilson, N.C., and Archie Q. Brett of Zuni; three sisters, Mrs. Donna Worrell of Como, and Mrs. Lloyd Story and Mrs. Marvin Porter of Franklin; four brothers, Jim Whitley and George Whitley of Como, Franklin I. Whitley of Franklin and Robert Whitley of Portsmouth; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, by Rev. Harry Bunch and Rev. Kenneth Williams. Burial will be in Poplar Spring cemetery, Franklin. The family will be at the F. Lloyd Brett home in Walters. Mary Anna (WHITLEY; Mrs. Leo L.)
