(Rt. 622). [see Find a Grave Mem. #127123114 & #127123709] Percy's first wife, (Helen) Ruth (COUNCIL/COUNCILL) BRITT {d. 1919}, may be buried there with his parents, or possibly with her father, in a COUNCIL family cemetery, also on New Rd. SCHS Cemetery Project, Miscellaneous Cemeteries, Vol. 2 (II-52): http://files.usgwarchives.net/va/southampton/cemeteries/miscvol2.txt Percy appears in 1940 Census on New Rd. (Berlin-Ivor Dist.), renting; his brother Walter G. BRITT, next door, owned the farm. That conforms with oral tradition, that the BRITT family cemetery is on the farm owned by Walter's family. Walter is buried in Ivor Cemetery.
